More Than Just A Memory
There’s something so vulnerable about being in a dark room surrounded by once-strangers and now-friends. All together for the love of music, we close our eyes and let our hands fray in all directions. As if reaching for an arms-length of closeness that might lead to a hug so long it touches our souls. Stripped of our ego, the dance floor is an incubator for genuine connections, lifelong friends, and soul partners.

The senses are the conduit through which we interact with the world around us. Our most spectacular abilities as human beings are enabled through the sensations of sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing. As members of the dance music community, the privilege to receive information through our senses is our most precious asset.

Dance Floor Epiphanies
Nothing beats summer in Chicago. July 2021 - The city convinced us that the pandemic was over and the dance floor was back. I met Reid 2 months prior and it would be the first time he met all my friends at a beach party that I was involved in. At that point, I was not ready to commit because I was promised a “hot girl summer.”
